PressKing at LeWeb’11 : impressions
Being a startup, this was the very first time for PressKing to attend a prestigious event such as LeWeb. First impressions were both moving and inspiring and most journalists probably have already captured these moments fabulously. Whether you are a blogger, journalist, visitor or exhibitor, everyone sees and experiences LeWeb differently with his own eyes. Here are some of the impressions that we captured.
Every couple of hours, interesting presentations, workshops and Q&As took place. However, the many visitors attending LeWeb visited Pressking’s stand on a regular basis. As a result, we did not have much time to attend these enkindling presentations and workshops. I am not complaining, this is not a bad thing
We may have only been able to follow Karl Lagerfeld’s chat on screen, but therefore we had the opportunity to converse with the many other interesting attendees. Attendees, who passionately talk about their product, inspire to new ideas, listen and show interest in what you have to say as well.
Thanks to the Podcasts, we were fortunate enough to catch up on all the interviews and presentations. And, because visitors and other exhibitors are not podcast-compatible, they were our priority, of course!
This brings me to the next important topic: networking, the essential activity during such an event. Everyone who visited LeWeb has something to do with the Internet. Be it applications, services, websites, etc.; there was something interesting for all. This left plenty of room to create new ideas, co-working opportunities and new contacts.
The ideas, created at LeWeb, may inspire development. For PressKing, that is exactly what we have done. We fuelled up on new ideas and inspirations, thanks to the many fascinating conversations we were able to have. They enable us to think about and further develop our platform for the future. For that, a great thanks to all!
LeWeb was exciting, inspiring, productive and most of all…FUN! With our lottery “Million Credit Baby”, attendees had the chance to win 1 million credits for PressKing. Participants went home with a “Palme d’Or” and masses of credits to spend! All in all, LeWeb’11 was amazing!
